You want to execute WebGoat project then need to follow some steps:-

1)go to https://github.com/WebGoat/WebGoat download project files.
2) Install java, jdk & tomcat apache in your system,
3) run jar file     java -jar WebGoat-6.0-exec-war.jar
4) open browser http://localhost:9090/WebGoat
5) your project execute. enjoy it---------
